- If you see an error message, copy the message and email it to me right away at [email protected]. Then call me.
- If you do not see an error message and the screen is white (blank) call me.
- If I am unable to respond within a reasonable amount of time (24 hours or less), call your hosting company.
Reasons your website may be down
- Your form of payment expired and either your domain or hosting didn't renew. If we are not available you can call your hosting company and check to see if this is the case.
- There can be a software conflict. This is often caused by an automatic upgrade which can sometimes create issues with other parts of your website. This could be software on your website or software associated with your hosting company. Contact us or open a ticket.
- You may have malware on your website. Hacking happens on occasion and we'll have to do some work to correct this. Contact us or open a ticket.
Following some basic security measures and frequent backups will ensure your website's safety. If you are concerned about malware and hacking, give us a call.
